Adrián Sosa
Adrián Sosa was born on July 25, 1994 in the city of Monteros, province of Tucumán. He is a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the UNT, visual artist and teacher. He completed a diploma in cultural management at the San Pablo-T University, in addition to courses and workshops with artists such as Agustín Gonzales Goitia, Verónica Meloni, etc.
In 2023 he won the Braque prize, which took him for three months to the Cite internationale des arts in Paris, France. It was part of the 2021 arts program at Torcuato Di Tella University. He won the second prize in the engraving category at the 2021 national visual arts salon. In 2020 he was awarded second place at the 11th Itaú award, as well as a grantee from the Oxenford collection and a production incentive at the 48th salon de Tucuman. He participated in the MAC fair, Córdoba Art Market, in 2019 together with Walter Tolaba and El Pasaje Gallery.
In 2018, he exhibited in The Questions of the Landscape in Espacio Tucumán CABA, an exhibition curated by Velen Romero Gunset apart from other collective exhibitions.
Adrián Sosa nació un 25 de Julio de 1994 en la ciudad de Monteros, provincia de Tucumán. Es Lic. en Artes Plásticas por la UNT, artista visual y docente. Realizó la diplomatura en gestión cultural de la universidad San Pablo-T, además de cursos y talleres con artistas como Agustín Gonzales Goitia, Verónica Meloni, etc.
En 2023 ganó el premio Braque, que lo llevó durante tres meses a la Cité Internationale des Arts de París, Francia. Fue parte del programa de artes 2021 de la universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Ganó el segundo premio de la categoría grabado en el salón nacional de artes visuales 2021. En el 2020 fue merecedor del segundo lugar en el 11° premio Itaú, así como becario de la colección Oxenford y un incentivo a la producción del 48° salon de Tucumán. Participó de la feria MAC, Mercado de arte de Córdoba, en el año 2019 junto a Walter Tolaba y Galería El Pasaje. En 2018 expuso en Las Preguntas del Paisaje en Espacio Tucumán CABA, una muestra curada por Velen Romero Gunset aparte de otras exposiciones colectivas.
